I got a float tube for my birthday that my dad picked up at a yard sale. It was brand new still in the package. However it is missing the stabilizer bar. I have never owned a float tube so I don't know how to replace the stabilizer bar. I have looked online for the company that makes the tube but have found nothing. I think its a older company. Cascade Sport is what is on the tube but goggle pulls up nothing for this company.
My question is: What would be a safe way to replace the stabilizer bar? I though about a doul rod but not sure if that will work. I don't want to poke a hole in it. I have seen lots of pic and it looks standard with 2 pockets for the stabilizer bar to fit into. One concern is that the pockets are angled down so does what ever I use does it have to also have the right angle on it?
