im looking into buying a new rod a reel, spifically another baitcaster. What i was wanting to know is yalls opinion on abu garcia rods and reels. The reel i am thinking about is the revo sx and the rod - the veritas. if any one can give me an opinion of what they think of these reels please let me know. As always -God Bless    

I haven't used either of the specific reels you mentioned here, but I do own two Abu Garcia Reels, (Revo S and Cardinal Spinning reel). I can tell you that they have been very long lasting, dependable reels. I have put them through a lot of abuse and they have both lasted a really long time without much maintenance.

And they perform great too

I've fished with a Revo SX and it performs very good. No complaints and would give it a two thumbs up...Never had the opportunity to use the rod tho..

have not seen a bad Abu Garcia yet.

I have never heard anything bad about them my fishing buddy loves his......I use the berkley lighting shock and they are great...But i just got three new SKEET RESEE rod with reels ( two spining and one baitcaster and they are great ) I don't think you can go wrong with the Abu Garcia they seem to be a good quality good luck with your choice let us know how they work.............JOHN
