I was fishing for Bluegill with a fly rod a few years ago, when all of the sudden a duck came up and bit my fly.  I was fishing off a bridge so I really couldn't really unhook the duck at that point.  Luckily there is a pathway next to the bridge that lines the shore.  I was glad to let that thing go without it getting a broken neck or with me getting the bird flu.

I once caught a seagull in mid-cast fishing a L&S Mirro-Lure from the Deerfield Beach fishing pier in Deerfield Beach Florida. Fought it down from the sky. WILD! That was one torqued off bird!!!

I once caught a Canadian Goose when casting. Damn thing flew right arcoss the line got tangled and slammed into the lake . Not so much fun getting it untangled. But I think some of the people who witnessed it had a good laugh.

I caught a seagull once. It dove after my Johnson's Minnow Spoon. Not fun!
    TIGHT LINES!
