For any of you guys who have competed in tournaments, how do you guys focus and tune in to the tunnel vision realm after arriving on the lake? Also, how do you guys 'pick the lake apart', like where would you first start, or recommend starting and what lures would you start with as a fish finder?
Fishing.. one of the few things in life that keep me sane.

I always prepare several days ahead for tourneys.  Find out what the weather forcast is going to be and find lures that will work well during those conditions.  Bring different colors of all the types of lures you plan on using.  For example, if you are planning on using a shallow running crankbait, you should bring natural and unnatural colored versions of that crankbait.

Are you fishing in any tourneys soon?
