The replacement was sent out the same day they recv'd it. It is almost identicle to a rod I have been using for a while and I really like it. looking forward to trying this one out. The best way to get it replaced is to send it directly to the Diawa corp. and not to the club. The only thing about it is your name sticker isn't on it and the logo sticker isn't on it. Diawa did send me one of their stickers to put on it. Yes it was free. In all honesty though I have never hooked a fish on a sticker before. It does sound like a challenge. I'll have to let you know how it works.
