How long did the docs say is the healing time on that Bill. It would be difficult to use an ice auger with just one arm. But as they say when there is the will there is a way. LOL

yep sanchez, i been reading up on that and been told pretty much the same. hoping the time off with the broken bone will help the sore hip to heal to.

doc i would love to be in on any of the chat rm.. but 1st. i either have to get a different computer or have allot more storage in stalled so i can have this one upgraded enough to get into the chat rms.

wellsey, this should give me time to clean and sort my gear for next spring..........along with the ice fishing gear so i can get out on the ice when i'm able to.

doc says i'm off until the 20th of dec.....he even said that after a couple of weeks he wants me to start moving the arm.
the break is a small hairline break on the top side of the shoulder blade......i guess i can sort thru the ice fishing gear 1 handed

yep, thats is what the doc said too. he just doesn't want me to be stupid......lol

i went down to the lake and made a few cast with a spoon just to see how it felt. casting the line seems to make it feel tender, but reeling in wasn't to bad. i even had a short supprise on the 5th cast..........a rainbow hit the spoon and i fought it to the shore, but lost it just before the net. oh well it was fun and just as long as i don't over do it i think i'll be all right

I know where you're coming from: On my 60th b-day in Aug. I had a pacemaker implanted in my heart and 3 weeks ago they did a double bypass on me. Rocovering well and rapidly I'm glad to say.

    nice going jesse

i made the trip to mi. and i'm now back in ohio. had a good visit with the folks and several of my friends.
brother al is doing really good. since he had his heart surgery, his foot has started to show some signs of healing too. so for the foot surgery it's going to be a wait and see thing.

thanks for the thoughts and prayers guys
