I'm One! Can't wait to see what comes next! Know what I mean? Uncle Tom HOOK, LINE, & SINKER!!!
|
|
| I built my own lure company as a young man--thus the name UncleTomsJigs. It grew so well I decided to give it up and go fishing with family, friends and especially grand children. I became disabled as a United Methodist Pastor IN 2002 and retired here in Coastal Georgia on a 10 acre lake where I continue to fish despite my disabilities. My wonderful wife and I enjoy fishing together. God has blessed us in so many ways and we pray the same for you. I am excited about having so many new friends all over this great country. |

I agree they are going to have to sweeten the deal as I'd love to, but what good is Cabela's Offer if there's none in my area I have to go to and Harry prob. knows where but like Olympia...just to use that offer and that's about 45 mins from here at least... |

more money
yup; That's the only thing I can see different from the life membership. Oh yeah, you get a really cool looking 'Trophy Life Member' patch. Whoopee! I have already paid almost 300 smackers for a life membership, and so far in the 8 years I have been one, all I have product tested is beads and trinkets. Why would I want to pay another 129 bux or so to do more of the same? I am completely satisfied with being a life member. Now if the club would give a nice incentive to become a trophy member, like a nice Humminbird trolling motor or a 20 ft pontoon boat, I might reconsider! LOL Have a good one all, Salty Dan Orange Texas |

Hi as you know I am New to this Forum ! I have Noticed a Difference in a Trophy Membership ! I Paid the Same as Everybody Else and I am Happy ! I have Recieved so much Stuff from the NAFC that my Membership Fees are Long Gone ! Just Last Week I got by Suprise a Walleye Fillet Knife ! With a Leather Pouch and it is a High Quality Knife ! Worth around 45 Dollars and Sharp ! Who Else got that Knife ??????????????????????? The Magazine is also Great ! Now Im sure there are other Difference but I Noticed that Trophy Life Members Do Not have to Register or Apply for Field Testing Products ! I Believe Life Members Do ! Thanx CM |

I'm a trophy member...The best part of it is the navionics pc app. For those who are trophy members, download the app on your pc. You can do so much with it. I recently planned routes and marked potential fishing spots as waypoints and saved them to my sd card, then uploaded it to my lowrance hds 8. This is a great tool to have especially if you fish and boat in saltwater or big water bodies. The navionics pc app is compatable with Raymarine (A Series, A65 Series, C Series, E Series, RC Series), Furuno NavNet, Humminbird, Lowrance, Northstar and Geonav.

I am tossing the idea around. How often does the offer get around? I got the Life Member offer soooooo many times, and finally took it, paid all at once and got my stuff. Now i get the Trophy offer, and wish i had an extra month. maybe the next time around.

I just got the offer for the 3rd or 4th time. They make it all sound good. But alot of what they offer, you have to spend money to save the money. They say that you get better items to field test, but they said the same when I became a life member and still only got stuff worth a few bucks. Does any of the trophy life memebrs feel that they got a good deal on this? |

You can choose the payment option for trophy membership as well. The only good thing about trophy membership is the Navionics PC app and the 10% discount for fishing hotspots maps. The PC app is worth it, if u have a boat. You can do a lot from your pc at home. Plan routes, waypoints and then transfer to your GPS. The maps are good too..there water proof and have lot of details, and give coordinates to know hot spots..If u don't own a boat, the offer really isn't worth it. Just my opinion. |

I've been a life member for years now, I do own a boat but it does not justify me to add the trophy membership since I'm already a life member. I'm not knocking it, I just choose not to waste my money on something that i cannot use. |
