Hey John; I have been fishing a few times this year. So far, the fish are winning 4 - 0! I went fishing with Jesse over in San Antonio last Sunday and watched him catch a nice cat, while something kept stealing my bait! LOL Tight lines, Salty Dan Orange Texas |

I had hoped to get out today but there is still too much ice. It will probably be like last year when I blinked and the pond thawed almost overnight. We have rain in the forecast and that should help quite a bit. Tom |

Went on 3/17/2011. Caught 4 nice Crappie ranging in 11-14 inches. Lost a fifth fish in the brush [a Crappie] and landed [1] small White bass & turned it back |

I have been four times in the last 10 days, here in Ft Riley KS area. Have caught fish each time from the Kayak. Two Walleyes, two Largemouths, 5 Cats (one blue, four channels), and around 30 or so Crappie...oh and i even had one of them stupid Asian Carps jumo in the yak once already. I very rarely keep anything at all. I like to call it FISH CPR (Catch Photo Release). Windy has all get out here this week, but i am going again on Friday afternoon...gotta get some more Walleyes. Good luck to you all who are fishing and i hope those that are waiting to fish can get out there on the water and start soon. |
