Hey Guy's, I've been shopping around for a new ultra light reel,I'm looking at the Abu Garcia Orra S 10.I'm putting it on my 4'6" Ugly Stik.I use 4 to 6lb line. What's your thoughts on a good reel in the $70 range.

The one you're looking at is an excellent reel...but I would also take a hard look at the BPS CarbonLite and the Pflueger President.
Ashes to ashes, dust to dust, if it wasn't for my super smooth carbon drag, my 30 year old Trilene would bust!

I have always sold more of the older Made in France // Garcia Mitchell # 308, 408, << reel with left hand and the # 309 & 409 >> reel with right hand to trout fishermen.

I've had a 308 since I was 16, used it to catch lots of fish in lakes and streams. I use 2# (true unltra-light)on one spool an 4# on the other. I will also admit that there are now better reels for that job. Most of todays reels are much smoother than those of my youth but the French made Garcia Mitchel reels are still very good. I did retire my Quick 110 (German made).
