MEDICINE BOTTLES, Ever wonder what to do with all those old prescription bottles lying around the house. Don't throw them away. They work great in your tackle box or your jacket! Ever notice all those rusty hooks or corroded sinkers in your tackle box? Put your hooks and sinkers in these containers. Works great to organize. I use them for different color grubs and the amber color seems to keep the sun from fading them out--I even spray my favorite scent on grubs in them. You can drop several beetle spins, road runners or your favorite jig in them. Put some tooth picks in one--never know when you might need a tooth pick. Their usefulness is only limited by your imagination! Good luck and good fishing. Uncle Tom

| I built my own lure company as a young man--thus the name UncleTomsJigs. It grew so well I decided to give it up and go fishing with family, friends and especially grand children. I became disabled as a United Methodist Pastor IN 2002 and retired here in Coastal Georgia on a 10 acre lake where I continue to fish despite my disabilities. My wonderful wife and I enjoy fishing together. God has blessed us in so many ways and we pray the same for you. I am excited about having so many new friends all over this great country. |

I remember film! That's the stuff you used to have to put in a camera before they invented memory cards! Tom |

Memory cards! Man I could sure use some of those. How bout it, Northeast Bass, y'all got any of them in stock. I can't even remember where I put the 2009 set NAFC sent me but I did pay the bill. Glad I watched them and they weren't as expensive as I thought--took 7 year old grand daughter on a date to the movies and it cost more than the set. Glad the guys at head quarters don't know that. They have memory problems too, or they would have sent me my Ugly Stick along with my life membership. Good Luck and good fishing! Uncle Tom

great tips. I have always used these bottles for sinkers or hooks but have never thought about it for grubs and such. another idea is to make your own tackle binder by recycling an old day planner. Just get a bunch of zip lock bags( the ones with the zipper seal not the ones you press closed) and insert them into the rings of your planner. started doing this when I got my binder from the club when I signed up to be a lifer. Never thought about safety pins but that is a great idea--should work on any size hook. I am always working with kids about things they can make lures out of and things needed in survival kits. I am going to add a couple of safety pins to the survival kit--no limit as to how you can use them. Great Survival Tip Award! Uncle Tom
