Despite the extremely low water levels we've been able to hook several nice steelhead this spring. We did keep a 9-pounder for the BBQ and let the rest go....

    Nice steelies, Wayne!

I find myself suprised at the size of Brett!  It seems like only the other day he was standing on the end of your dock, fishing his heart out...A fine looking young man he has turned out to be!  I can't help but wonder how those fishies would look in my smoker!  LOL! Nice fish and great pics, thanks for sharing!

Thanks for posting the pics Pete and yes Brett (Da Young Bushwacker) is a young man now. He turns 19 on April 22nd and it sure doesn't seem quite right that they should grow up that fast. He's in college taking engineering...but ducks out of school this spring whenever he can to fish the rivers. If I had a smoker, that's where the fish would go - but I haven't broken down and bought one yet so they go on the Q.
