Hello folks,
Wanted to stop in and say hello and introduce myself.
My name is Ron, I currently reside in Waynesboro, PA. I am an avid Bass Fisherman. I just signed up for the membership here. Was a member with the N.A.F.C years ago and got out of it for awhile. Glad I came back and looking forward to a long membership here with the N.A.F.C.
Been fishing ever since I was 9 years old, fishing for anything at the time. Now that I am alittle older I am more into the Bass Fishing and my wife and I only Catch, Photo and Release.
Just got my first jonboat (1970 SeaMaid 1232) and looking forward to getting it decked up for next spring as it will be awhile before it sees any water at this time due to the condition it is in.
Well thats my fishtale, lol. Just Kidding. |

welcome Ron. I hope you enjoy your stay. I also have a project boat I am working on, Mostly the trailer. There have been a few tips in the forum on tricking out your boat. Brian |

THanks folks for the warm welcome. Much appreciated. Brian - Yeah I have been reading tips and tricks here as well as other forums and have came up with some ideas. Unfortunately not a whole lot I can do with a 1232, lol. But what my intentions are should hold me over for a couple years until I can get a bigger one. I am looking for a trailer now, but funds are limited at this point. Thank goodness for my van bass or bass - where in Franklin did ya live? Just curious |

Ron I too was born and raised in Pa. In a small town in the south western part, Greensboro in Greene Co. and still have family there. I joined the Navy in 1969 and have been on the west coast ever since, so I don't get back there too often. So what part is Waynesboro in. I know were Waynesburg is. Welcome Ron! Its good to have you in NAFC. Don't know much about fishing in PA but wanted to wish you a warm welcome from Coastal Georgia. Uncle Tom I'm sure if the fishing is as good as the chocolate you are in for a great time!

| I built my own lure company as a young man--thus the name UncleTomsJigs. It grew so well I decided to give it up and go fishing with family, friends and especially grand children. I became disabled as a United Methodist Pastor IN 2002 and retired here in Coastal Georgia on a 10 acre lake where I continue to fish despite my disabilities. My wonderful wife and I enjoy fishing together. God has blessed us in so many ways and we pray the same for you. I am excited about having so many new friends all over this great country. |

Hey rsprinkle, I knew I had an address for where we lived in Franklin. This was in an eyeglasses case of my grandfather's. 1402 Otter Street. Does that tell you anything?
