HI, i just signed up this weekend, despite all the negative feedback from google. I decided to give it a try myself! but i have a few questions.........

    1. PRODUCT TESTING- what type of stuff have you guys tested and how often do things come around?

    2. I am aware they are going to send me books and dvd's? to possibly purchase if i want to.... How do i stop them from sending me stuff like that and only do the magazine?

Any info will help and thank you in advance! looking forward to getting to know this club and all the members!

Welcome to the club, it is what you make of it, so enjoy.
So far I've only received a filet knife for field testing.
Test items seem to be hard to come by, but it depends on your profile for the field test program and what's available.

Other than that if you truely don't want the books/DVDs etc. call the club # on your card and tell 'em.  But you may want to check some out before you do that.

Again, the club is what you make of it, so enjoy.

ramseyetcs is right mbaca, you might want to try the books before you rule them out. I see countless members on here count themselves out of so much, just by not PAYING ATTENTION! Carefully read all the offers the club sends you. Too many members jump the gun and cancel before even looking at the offer. Did you know that the books come with a free gift(fishing line, lures, fillet knives etc.)? After previewing(not buying) 6 books you get a FREE Rapala digital scale. And you NEVER have to pay postage to return ANY item they have sent you, you can print pre-paid shipping labels from your account page. After 6 or 7 books, the free gifts quit coming...but you can cancel at any time. Or do like I did, and request just 1 book a month. Actually, they'll set it up any way you like. Hey NAFC, how about hittin' me with the DVD program?

welcome to the family. The best advice i can give you to get the most advantage of the club is to use it to make new friends and connections. Don't get discouraged by the field testing it is what it is.
I have made allot of friends here and through those friendship i have gotten more value out of the club . I have Ben on guided outings , learned new skills , stayed out of town free .
so just think of all the possibilities the club has to offer you .
