Hello Everyone! We had a great meet last year and I hope all that attended will will return. This year is our 10th Anniversary Meet! Yeah! The oldest meet there is. I invite all for a good time. We need to get our heads together and come up with something special. I am looking at the dates of the weekend of May 16th & May 17th. Does this work for all? I wanted to get the post out early so we can work on all the particulars and make this meet very special. As always, this is YOUR meet! Everyone has a say and all suggestions are welcome. Let's brainstorm, I know PA that's a lot for you but concentrate buddy, and we can have the best meet ever. Let me know if the dates work for everyone and let's start early getting it all together. It looks like many successful meets are now going on across the country and it makes me happy to see their success. It all started with this meet everyone! Then followed the Michigan meet with Doc and others fell in like dominoes. Things to think about. Shirts, Hats, Longevity etc. along with the wonderful food etc. Lets chat it up and see what ideas we all agree on. As always hope everyone is doing well and GOD bless you all.... I am in! I will be there in 2009 for the Tenth Anniversary Meet. I was just fishing with Wellsley this past weekend and we were talking about the past meet and the upcoming 10th Anniversary Lake George/Lake Champlain Meet. I was telling Wellsley that I wanted to contact you to say I wanted to help out and do what I can for the meet. So, please count me in to make this meet a special thing for everyone to enjoy. . Oh yes... now Wellsley might know one of my spots to catch Lake Trout and some of my secrets. But I do have a secret or two of my own.. like the secret way I have the reel jump right out of the reel seat of the rod when he has a big one on the line. I am sure Wellsley can tell you more! |

All I can say is don't plan on catching a fish bigger than fishing-eagle's. He's got the equipment rigged so that isn't going to happen. lol I hope to make this meet its going to depend on when I have to pick up my daughter from college. I won't know for some time. Now if we could get a commitment from some of those mid-western members to come to the longest running meet. Maybe someone from the NAFC mag. to do a story. They could interview the founding members. Glad to see you all are at least considering coming back. We all thought you guys were a good addition to our meet. Believe me! I understand the college thing. That's what happened last year and why the meet was a little earlier than normal. All though all agreed to have it earlier so I could attend. That's the great group of guys we have. I know it's early but let's all chat it up everyone. It's our 10th meet! Hope everyones family is ok and I pray for you all every day.... Tight lines... P.S. Glad to see Ed is getting in a lot of fishing. A lot of my time is spent now with my grandson but he is my future fishing patrner after all. lol! He already has his first tackle box at 8 months old.... Patrick LM/NAFC ---~<<*>>><--- |

Hi everyone , I got a e-mail from jarhead1 - Patrick that he lost most of our e-mail addresses. So I just sent out a e-mail asking if you wanted to be on the e-mail list. If you do not reply you will not be on it. Also if you did NOT get one or want to be on the list PM jarhead1 or myself with your e-mail address and will get you on there. |

SORRY TO STATE THIS FELLOW ANGLERS. I CAN PERSONALLY ATTEST. THIS IS NOT THE OLDEST NAFC MEET. NOR IS IT EVEN CLOSE TO 10 YEARS OLD...ASK AROUND ON THE BB AND YOU'LL SEE, THIS IS A FAKE GROUP TRYING TO BE THE VTTROLLER.... ..IT WAS FOUNDED IN 1999 BY WILLIAM SCHOONER AKA VTTROLLER. THIS GROUP IF YOU ALL BEEN FOLLOWING THESE PAST YEARS, ARE PEOPLE WHO WAS ASKED NOT TO RETURN FOR VARIOUS CRIMES AND OUTDOOR VIOLATIONS. SUCH AS POACHING, THEFTS AND ASSAULTS. NONE OF THESE ANGLERS HAS 10 YEARS ANY WHERE! THIS GROUP STARTED IN 2006. THIS PROVES WITHOUT A DOUBT, THEY ARE A FRAUDULENT GROUP. NAFC SHOULD BE ASHAMED TO ALLOW THIS TO BE POSTED BY A 3 YEAR OLD GROUP. KNOWING FULL WELL, IT IS NOT THE ORIGINAL GROUP. NOT EVEN CLOSE TO BEING 10 YEARS. OUTRIGHT LIES TO TRY TO BE SOMEONE ELSE. THE ORIGINAL GROUP IS TEN TIMES THE SIZE OF THIS GROUP AND IS TEN YEARS OLD. THIS GROUP IS NOT EVEN 4 YET. WRITE VTTROLLER@AOL.COM AND LET HIM KNOW THIS IS GOING ON. HE WILL FLIP... CLAIMING HIS AND HIS GROUPS ACCOMPLISHMENTS. OR GO TO VTTROLLER@MYSPACE AND FIND OUT THE TRUTH TO THIS FRAUDULENT GROUP OF POACHERS. WITH PHOTO PROOF OF POACHING AND THEFT OF THIER BANNER. THIS IS A REAL INSULT TO ALL OF US NAFC MEMBERS. THESE GUYS CLAIMING TO BE WHAT THEY SURELY ARE NOT!!! ASK ANY OLDER GROUP WHO FOUNDED WHAT. NOT SOME POACHER FROM NJ.(aka jarhead) DAVE |

This just proves, you people have no clue who did what. Just following a person of low ethics who has to pretend to be another. Might as well state you guys started the whole NAFC. Might as well lie BIG. Trying to steal another persons identity is a crime aint it? All these meets can be postponed if a Court order is done. Why are we answering nafc meet? Have we not learned anything from the past. Lets all do us all a favor and ignore this guy who ever he is. We are better people then that - lets set the example,... not follow it - remember - we have kids who follow this site. Thanks

We shouldn't let this bother us people; after all, talk is cheap. I know for a fact the QUALITY of people I have met at the last 2 NE meets that I have been to. That and everything else is what is gonna keep me coming back each year. (Maple smoked Laker: "YUM") All I can say to anyone who has NOT attended a Members Meet; you're missing out on a REALLY GOOD TIME! If the ones I havn't attended are anything like the 2 I have, then I'm missing out as well! (But work keeps getting in the way.) So it looks like y'all can count me in as well for next year! I don't see anybody on here claiming to be someone else. I also don't see these people claiming to have started "The Meet". Everyone has always acknowledged that VT started "The Meet" and no one has tried to take that accomplishment from him. But when was the last one he attended? Just because he quit attending doesn't make "The Meet" null and void. Its a MEMBERS Meet after all. I know for a fact everyone I have met there are all NAFC members; most of which are Lifers like myself. It has taken on a life of its own and it will continue as long as the Club itself continues. Dennis you are right about the meets being about members and not one person. I believe that certain meets would go on even if the club ceased to exist. The club just gave us a place to meet in the first place. Jim

Well Hello Frank. I didn't get out on Champlain as much as I would of liked to this year the new job has had me running my a** off but I can say that I didn't get skunked on Champ this year. I always managed to catch "something". Did get skunked on a coast fishing trip over in NH this year but I learned a few things from it. Had some good luck on some of the local lakes. Yes I hope to see you at Lake George next year. I'll be targeting Salmon next year, picked up alot of tips from the Champ. forum. I've got an idea for next years meet. How about a "lure raffle"? Say everyone who attends buys a new lure. Set the cost overhead at say 4 or 5 bucks. When everyone arrives they throw the lure into a bucket or something. When we're all together and ready to do the group photo we make up a bunch of slips of paper, one for everyone attending. All these slips are blank with the exception of one. Put an "X" on it or something. Put all the slips in a hat, pass the hat and whoever gets the "X" slip wins the lures. I was thinking about a PIE eating contest as well, but with Pete and Ed there no one else would stand a chance at that one. LOL. To Karl: I found a blue reel cover in the boat not too long ago. Its for a bait caster reel. I think its yours. I threw it into the rod locker so it'll be there when I see you again. So, whatya all think? Dennis, I like your suggestion and I would surely participate with a lure to donate to the lucky winner. Now Pie eating... the average fisherman won't have a chance against you know who. |

Here at the Pa mini meet we do something similar. Instead of drawing a name, the person that catches the longest fish wins the lures. As far as pie eating goes, have at it! Unfortunetly I won't be attending in 2009. My budget is to far out of wack due to the cost of gas this year (budget over-run). I will miss not being there. I am not sure what I will be able to attend next year. But I want to stay in the loop, not miss anything! LM since 2005 Bushwacker Deputy Sherif |

First I would like to thank all the members for their support!!! Never, have we said this meet is about one person. As Dennis stated we all have acknowleged who came up with the idea but, an idea does not make a meet, the members do. As always it's your meet. Anyone who is offended by any post please contact the club. We all thought this was resolved before as the club told us. My main problem is that we have life members who have posted since the original bulletin board who will no longer post and are feeding into this persons attacks. Please ingore all cowards. Dennis, I like your suggestion for a raffle. Since many of us fish for different species a raffle seems best. Big fish in one species is not a big fish in others. But, it is your meet members. Let me know what you think. I am for a raffle. Turnip, If you are having difficulties attending please contact me. We or I may be able to assist so you can attend and have a great time. You would definitely be missed! Gas prices etc are coming down so please don't count yourself out yet. I understand about family issues though as you have seen from some of my prior posts. I hope everyone is doing well and also their families!!! I need some ideas on shirts or hats from everyone. I have a contact that can do them but not as cheap as Rabbit. Although I can get really good quality, like Columbia shirts in short or long sleeve etc. It all depends on how many we order. Let me know your ideas, suggestions, thoughts, etc we have time to get many things worked out. Many of God's blessigs to you all for the Holidays.... Patrick LM/NAFC ---~<<*>>><--- |

The lure raffle sounds good and I'm game for either t-shirts. I know Rabbit has done an excellant job in the past. But this can be stressful especially when members can't get back to him or can't decide. I hope all is well with everyone and I hope to make it to the meet. Lifemember and Bushwacker SMF

Welcome to the BB troutpw. Now what is it you would like to know? I'll try to answer what I can. The meet has been held at Roger's Rock Campground (on Lake George NY). Lake Champlain is just up the road so you can fish both lakes. Its a great meet and a great place to fish. There are members that come from all over the northeast, NY, MA, NJ, PA, NH, VT. Where abouts are you from? What do you like to fish for? If camping is not your cup of tea there is lodgeing near by. Feel free to post your questions someone will respond. I was just curious about the meet. Is it for members only ? what is the cost ? Does everyone pitch in food and help or is it bring your own do your own thing. as for me I am originally from the Buffalo N.Y. area but my job keeps me traveling and am currently in New Jersey . I like to fish for just about any species as I find it interesting and challenging not to mention just fun and relaxing |

As far as cost there is no fee for the meet. But if your going to camp at Rogers Rock campground then New York State gets so much a night. You can go to reserver america.com and check out the campground and see there fees. In the past we have had a group meal one night that Bill and Sally put on and they asked for a donation of a couple of bucks. (well worth it) Some of the group goes to town one night for a meal. T-shirts were offered if you ordered them ahead. (watch this thread for future details) Generally it is for NAFC members and there family and friends. Feel free to ask what ever questions or concerns you might have. Lifemember and Bushwacker SMF

So I just wanted to verify May 16th and 17th as the weekend for the meet. If so I'll be arriving probibly on the 15th and will leave on the 19th. This year I think I'm gonna stay at George, I can fish Champlain anytime. Added a new Captains Pak to "Dads Pride"; we're gonna go target us some Lakers and Salmon. Can't wait!! What no ice fishing? I've been out twice so far, got some nice perch. They were good. Trout Salmon and Bass ice season begins the 17th of this month in VT on the inland lakes. Putting together a small shanty to put out. Looking forwards to my first "overnighter" in it. I'll keep you posted. Well it's that time again. I'm hunkerd down in front of the fire its negative whatever outside and I'm startin to think about the may trip to the rock. Good to hear from ya lately Dennis. Hope things are panning out in the new search. let us know how you did on the hard water. Once again I'll say to anyone in the area...or not so close...wev'e had members from as far out as Texas...come on out! theres both warm and cold water world class fishing. Sumthin for everyone! Great new friends waiting to be met and just one heck of a good time waiting for ya. To all you who've been and are comin back. I can't wait to see you all again and catch up. It's been too long already. The Meets unofficial grounds is the loop of sites around #33. I'm not sure of the range of #s but the map is there to see if you go to reserve america.com and look up Rogers Rock campground in NY. See you all there. Turtle |

Well everyone, hope your holidays were peacefull and blessings to everyone. Sorry I have not been on much. So much going on here. Erik will be a Dad again very soon, maybe tomorrow. It's been a difficult pregnancy for his wife and she has been on bed rest since the beginning of September. It's been a lot on my wife and myself to support and help them through this time. That's why I haven't been in too much. Those who know my son Sean he is expecting his first child in July. I'll be a grandfather four times in a year and a half then. I'm sorry to say some members will not post and others are having trouble with the site so there is not as much chatter as previously on the BB. We all know what part of it is. I'll be sending out e-mails to the group. Anyone who needs information contact me. I'm going to Florida on the 19th of February and will be back the first week of March. Need the warmth and to FISH! I want to know all those who would be interested in shirts for the meet. I have to start working on that. The price would depend on how many order them. I'm thinking long or short sleeve heavy duty shirts (denim thick type) so the price would range from 15 to $25. Good quality shirts though. If you've seen my bass club shirts that's what I mean. If everyone wants cheaper such as T-shirts they would be cheaper. Let me know who would be interested. We would need an order of at least 12 to get the embroidery. I am looking forward to the meet and can't wait to see you all. I enjoy the pic's and seeing all who responded. Hope Dennis is doing well on the ice and nice deer Frank. Any additions to our e-mail list let me know. Keep in touch all and let's get the chatter going. Patrick LM/NAFC ---~<<*>>><--- |

Hoping I'll be able to make it this year but not sure now due to an unexpected layoff from work. Still its only 115 days away so hopefully theres still a chance, even if its just for the weekend. Hey Dennis I am sorry to hear that the economy may be effecting your work. I do hope you can make the meet. I am also sorry to hear that Frank has other commitments. I was hoping to see all the same crowd of good folks at the meet that I met there last year. . I am sitting here resting after playing out in the snow with that wonderful snowblower. I am so tired of winter and looking foward to spring time and some good fishing. I am really looking foward to the meet in Hague this year and I am planning on taking some extra time to enjoy the weekend and more. I would also like to see it be a special meet that folks will remember. I am willing to do what ever I can to help it be fun. Being somewhat the local guy here, I hope folks speak up and let me know if I can help in anyway. |

Hello Everyone, Thanks Doc for thinking of us. Hope your meet turns out great also. Kirk and his son are taken care of as far as sharing a site. If anyone has some room to take them out in their boat it would be appreciated. We have some new people attending this year and I know they'll have a great time. Good news also that my son Erik will be able to attend and that Sam is coming back this year. We have 5 from Jersey coming up in our group. I have sent out some e-mails to you all. Let me know what you think. Any suggestions to make this an even more awesome meet is greatly welcomed. We have a pretty good size group so far that are coming for sure. Hope some others like Dennis can find a way to attend. We'll sure miss Turnip but maybe a pie could lure him back.lol. PA has pulled out the mule after the snow melt and is fattening him up for the long haul. Tune up time coming soon for that mule. Maybe he can make it in record time this year since Rabbit showed us a picture of the new Mercedes mule cart he upgraded to last year. I guess being the Amish godfather pays well. Weldon is comng again this year all the way from Indiana. It will be good to see him again. I guess it's been a tough winter up there again this year. Anyone have any updates on the current conditions. Also anyone needing information on the meet and/or how to get their Lake George permits let me know. I sent out the information before and they are now accepting the applications for the permit. I'll update soon on the Friday night meal situation and what we are doing. Keep an eye on your e-mails. Can't wait to get on the water. Keep your drags loose... Patrick LM/NAFC ---~<<*>>><--- |

Touching vase quick...reels to spool, the boat to test and dusting off the gear. I only missed the first few but it's still the tenth to me. I may be bringing a few new faces so I can't confirm boat space. but if they cant make it I'm always up for fishin on the wildman side. Lord those people up there are accomodating. They even started importing yumlings just for us. That should take a load off John's mule and speed the trot up a bit. |

I am saddened that I will be unable to attend this year due to financial problems. Still laid off, unable to find work in my area. I hope everyone who attends has a GREAT time and my thoughts and prayers will be with you all. I will be attending this years LCI Derby on Champlain in June. My buddy and I have found a place on Champlain to stay for the derby for free this year so we're going for it. Hopefully things will turn around real soon all this "downtime" is starting to drive me a wee bit CRAZY!! But, I've got the boat ready to go so I'll be on the water in a day or so. Good Luck to you all and Tight Lines!

Well, It's gettin close. It's sad to hear that a few of ya won't make it...but the core seems to keep on keepin on. On this end I'm still leaving the plan on boating open this year, as the folks I invited are still up in th air. So, Capt'n Rabbit, if it comes to pass that I got the time, it will again be an honor to set out after the salmon n' lakers. Kirk and son, Like I said, if i'm not hosting...you guys are welcome (n' more) onboard for some bass'n and pike fish'n on Lk C.. We had some good times out in the past. Best to you all...it is truely a shame how quiet it is here...It just doesn't do justice to what happens when we all get together. |

Hello Ladies & Gentlemen, I just wanted to say that my calendar is marked and I will see you all at the meet. I was out on the lake fishing this past Sunday and I had my limit in the livewell in less than 2 hours. The big Lake Trout of the day was 7lb 6 oz and made some nice fillets. Ahh it was nice to have fresh fish for dinner again. So come out to Lake George and the meet; the fishing is great! |

7 plus is a nice fish! Looking forward to seeing ya again. Your darn lucky to call that your home pond. It really is a treat for me to get up there. I made it back only twice when it wasnt for the meets over the years, and it just gets better every visit as I learn the lake a bit more each time. WOW... next weekend. |

Well PA John and his mule are on the way! The five Jersey guys will be up there early Thursday morning. We will sure miss some people especially Rabbit's group, Bushwacker the pie man, and Dennis who had a lauch named after him.lol. I understand totally about college graduations. We came up early last year so I couldn't miss the meet. It allowed me to continue to attend and make this my 10th year staight. We have three members coming who have made it all 10 years! Hawkman, Pa John, and myself. This is the original NAFC meet. 10 Years now. Although some problems have come about with certain personalities we are still going strong. Despite personalities. Many meets have come about because of this meet and that's something to be proud of. Many of the original members on the Bulletin Board know what I mean. (foot note: 1998 and on) Kudos to you all and all those like DOC ( Michigan Meet) who followed suit and now there are many meets across the nation. We have a lot of new members attending this year and I know they will be pleasantly surprised. Thanks to ALL the members who make this a meet!!!! Can't wait to see you all and as always the fishing will be great. Congratultions to the NAFC North East Annual Meet on our 10 year Anniversary!!!! For any information see our original article in the NAFC magazine October/November edition Volume 13 number 6 page 73. Or contact me soon as I am on my way... The original NAFC meet! Well...the weather....we wont call it cooperating. Hahaha but it hapened as it does evey meet here in the NE. Little of this little of that. It wouldn't have been an aniversary with out some rain some shine and some wind to remind us of all the ones B4. It was really great to catch up with the people who are out of touch here on the board due to the "personalities". Thanks to ya'll who came in the past and couldn't make it for personal reasons...to those who came and made it what it is...and to you guys who just said have fun here on the BB. Thats how I met these people. folks just like all of you, sharing the experience and welcoming all comers. I wasn't there for #1 so it wasn't my tenth...my seventh actualy...but it sure was great to see every one who made it (and be a part of it all). We'll have to see about my pics coming out but till then. thanks again to you all. This is how I start every fishing season since my first year there. Turtle |

I really don't think that (personality) could ever take anything away from what you guys have done over the years. I've been reading this thread for years and it always sounds like a great time! I wander if PA John made it home yet on his mule? lol A few years back I tried to get a one day meet organized down here, the only people that showed up were me, Lendog, and PAJohn. I'll never forget what John said, and it has held true to the meets i've been to. He said sometimes the best meets are the days it's raining, that way you can sit around and actually get to know one another! Hope your meet continues for many years and it works out I can make at least one of them!

NAFC can't afford to host you guys as me in the magazine. Can't steal someones identities and claim to be them. Thats FRAUD on Media Inc/NAFC behalf, allowing you all to pretend to be the original group, when you started in 2007. Nowhere near 1999 as we are.The TRUE and Original North East Annual Meet is copyrighted and protected from theft and abuse. I got NAFC/Media inc permission before I did anything in 1999. On record and on file. Both to use NAFC/Media Inc name and Logo. 50 copies at hand.. Specially from Poachers and theives. You all have my permission to get drunk and fight. JUST NOT UNDER MY NAME OR MY GROUPS NAME or BANNER. Patrick knows he's violating copyright laws and committing fraud, trying to be ME, aka vttroller- William D Schooner. We/Our Group, are 11 years old to your 3. I teach patty how to actually fish, and he tries to be me. Such insecurity.. I do appreaciate the monies you all are earning for me though.. Keep pretending and acting as me and our group. There are costs involved and patrick was warned in 2007. His account is still valid, but over due on payments. A welch on non payment of his bills. As Turtle stated, only had to return the Banner and start you very own group, rather try to steal as a whole. Our accounplishments and history. And tell the truth, you all hardly fish L Champlain these past 3 years. Like this year, Patty stayed within feet on the NY shoire line. Seen noone else launch Pretty small group, compared to the true and original. Pretty pitifull. By asking your original 4 to not return, doesn't justify our group, with 52 other who returned honorably. Kept within the laws and did not attack woman and get drunk every night. No violence, just tell me and my group, we are the IMPOSTERS and see what happens. Your FRAUD has to STOP NOW and make all your accounts payable up to date. Or we will meet in court.. Irregardless of what happened in the past Bill...there's no WAY that you can stop we Members from getting together. It's OUR choice to get together....and the Meets are NOT Club sanctioned. You can NOT stop we Members from getting together and dong what EVER we feel like doing....and that IZ the bottom line as far as I'm concerned. And IF you TRY to stop us...you MAY find yourself in the middle of a "Class Action"...if you know what that is. vttroller wrote: I like your new web page, where Patrick Sinwich CLAIMS to now be the FOUNDER. No kidding Davie, just cannot post here online or anywhere else online without my lawsuits. But, I still started it regardless. YOU copied my work and now sanction a Fraudulant group. Knowing 100% full well they are fake. I guess your group loss thier rights to my work. Anglers been fishing together before you was a twinkle in your momma 1 eye. I neveer stated I was staop anglers to ever get toigether./ Just not under NAFC in any form simular or like what was built. You'd have to change banners, names and send letter via USPS mail. Fax, text or any other way but here! But, we al know your not an ethical angler, as you been on here attacking my threeads since 2005. 2006, 2007 every attack upon us. You all came to my threads. I never once went to another anglers thread and atrtacked thier impunity. Just like today, You feel embolden to strike out and cause more problems. Than insist the FRAUD and thefts STOP! Route out the fakes, kick them out of NAFC for life. They did the poaching, hurting our female anglers, steal from others? Is that the type of fellow angler you want at your Meet. Thats your right. Have a full drunk outing, fist fights and rapes. Thats the problem of Large meets. 1 host cannot baby sit eveeryone. Anglers whining like Robbie, People like turtle accusing others of stealing his tackle box accusing Robbie. Virus screaming he did all the work. Pat5ick screaming obscinities across the park. Tent mega parties, fights, arguements. I had all that and you all will to some day. Being the FIRST requires fine tuning. I still tell newbies they cannot attend for thier attitudes during my interview for signing the con tract. ALL because of every person asked not to return!! Yes, (I can stop this event here on this BB. Lawyers have been contacted way back in 2007. Thats why I can sell what I BUILT, not you Davie. You only enjoy my fruit of labor with no respect nor honor for what you now have. William Schooner Founder/owner of the NAFC NE Annual Meet and all those that followed. oh I forgot Davie. In 2006 through 2008 I dared all of you to sue if I am lying. Pajohn was the first to claim a lawsuit against me, Patty next. Nothing came forth as they know everything I state is 100% true and PROVABLE! I am the only one who has any claims, by theft and identity theft. SlanderS and hostile treatment for a 16 year life member who stayed here helping all anglers all year FOR OVER 13 OF THOSE YEARS.. Online and off. Hosted the most fellow anglers in my home for up to 20 days free of charges. Hosted the most in any Meet. Patty only comes on here for HIS Meet. He hides behind the word YOUR MEET. But his intentions is solely for himself./ Just wait and watch. He does nothing for you all most of the year, whats 2-4 days a year he has any interest in others? Can YOU match that, anyone?? I also paid 100% of everything for the first 4 years. Hundreds of hours and thousands in costs. Anyone else can claim that?? I've done more for this magazine subscription than anyone. I made this subscription into an actual club!! Look up definition of CLUB. Members gather and interact! Not lay back in frount of A TV SET WITH A Nafc MAG SOGGY BESIDE THE RECLINER. I have all 60lbs of photo's. I sent in over 30-60 per year, but Tery Durgin threw them out. I paid for the entertainment, film developing, 8zx10s, food, gear, stoves cameras, fuel, fire wood ect. These guys supplied nothing but thier own chairs. And the stories are not any to be proud of. if your asking this 3 year fake.. I missed this meet this year but as they say things happen for a reason. When you all were doing the meet ( I guess you were could not tell from this thread that anyone other than Karl had any fun). I was still getting my boat repairs done. Re did the back floor and a spot under the center console so I don't have to tear 3 sections of floor out + the trim section down each side to replace any thing from the transom to the center consol. Any way Friday when I was working on the boat my buddy from my area that I have fished and hunted with for 20+ years stopped in to say Hi with his grandson. We chatted for a while and they left , I went back to work on the boat. Sunday morning I was walking out of the local restaurant after having breakfast with my brother and over hear a guy I know saying my buddy pasted away last night. When I got home there was a message on the answering machine from his wife for me to call her. Well if things had worked out so I could have made this meet I would have never got to talk with him for one last time. I was also hoping if I could get the boat done I would run it up to Seneca and get a hold of Dave and Nancy and crash your group meal , picture and head back. It sadden me to come on this site and see this thread with only one reply for how it went. I want to thank pappy for sending me his pictures , Karl for your post here and the e-mail you also sent , Bill and Sally for your e-mail when I asked for some idea what went on at the meet on the mass e-mail I sent to everyone after the meet was over. I know some don't post on this new NAFC BB but you could still send out your stories and picture's to those of us that do by e-mail and we would gladly post it up for you so the folks out there could read and see what a GREAT MEET this is................. |

Hello everyone, I just got back from Rogers Rock campground. I got some bad news about next years meet. Rogers Rock Campground will not open until May 21st. 2010. The launch area will be open but the docks won't be in until then. No services such as bathrooms, showers, garbage disposal. I was told we could camp in the area that is open but no services will be available. Lifemember and Bushwacker SMF upstate NY

Frank I think we should be able to work out things for a meet and have a good time too. I would like the meet to be in the later part of May because I will have my new boat all outfitted and ready to fish then. Right now my basement is beginning to look like a marine wharehouse as I keep stockpiling all the new gear for the boat. I will need some decent weather and time once winter is over to install it all on the boat. Plus a little bit of time for a shake-down cruise and fishing trip prior to the meet at Rogers Rock would be good. Then I will be ready to do some quality fishing during the meet. You are welcomed aboard. |

Well my ground is covered with some funny looking white stuff here. I can't wait until spring when I can install all my new bells, whistles and toys in the new boat. I have a pile of boxes in the basement full with a lot of new equipment for the boat to be outfitted with. Oh yeah, I also have a heater down there too for next year. Once the boat is all rigged, I will be able to extend my fishing season next year as long as there is open water. Yes sir, we just close up the cockpit with full canvas and turn on the heater and we will be warm and comfy. The pile of boxes is fairly large now and more to come. I ordered the new Yamaha T8 four stroke with power tilt 2 weeks ago for my kicker engine. Yes, it will be equipped with remote controls too. This is my last new boat, so there is no skimping this time around. I will be catching the Salmon and Walleyes while you are out chasing those antlers. |
