Hello from northwest florida panhandle Panama city.I think we need to have a meet and greet. I belong to a great bunch of groups in theis area of Florida.PFF(pensacola fishing forums,Florida panhndleFishing boating in yahoo groups,)We fish for everything that will take a hook.Flyrods,crank,spincast open face,handline,you name it we do it.As for boats you name it we use it. Kyaks,canoes,ghenoes,two pieces of styrofoam and a lawn chair.pontoons,sailboat and power. So where are you come join us .

If you plan on freshwater fishing a good florida color for soft plastics is tequila shad or tequila sunrise. I've used this color from north central florida all the way down to south florida and they love it. Another thing that has been working for me is a crawdad-stink bug type lure black and maroon. Not sure if it's the color or the amazing way this thing sinks and swims but I've ran through two bags of them this winter. A good lake about and 1 1/2 hours give or take 30 mins from there is called orange lake. It's a hydrilla lake where you can easily take 5-10 using the baits I mentioned. It's also and EXCELLENT trophy lake that members should plan to make an event out of going there. I fish out of a kayak so I have no pictures but they fish are stacked in that lake. Good luck!
