Howdy Folks, I have just put up a new post in the Kansas forum with directions, we are going to be at BOX TURTLE POINT in the BlueStem camping area wich is just North of Shaddy Creek camp grounds, much nicer camping pads and a very nice submerged tree line in an area that looks very good for spawning Crappie.

Would like to see everyone there but know that is not possible, we will enjoy those that do show up and say a prayer for good health for all those that are unable to make it!

Have a very good day All.

    Rusty

Howdy Folks, I have been thinking about something that Charles had said while we were reconortering the camping spot, he said he had just picked up his annual camping permit and it cost him 167 dollars, well I thought to myself maybe I do not need one of those all that bad but I started looking into the cost of camping for our get-to-gether, when Charles and I went to check out the location it was before a (rate change), apparently there is one charge for camping when it is nice out and one for when it aint so nice and I had put in a message that it was going to cost 3.70 cents a day well that was for when the weather was not so good and there was no mention on the bulliten board about the camping fees on top of the daily vehicle fee pass.

So what I have found out today is that a 24 hour pass is 4.20 unless you are a senior or disabled and then it is 2.85, an annual permit is 24.70 unless you are a senior or disabled and then it is 13.60 and the permit is to be displayed on the lower left, driver side.

Daily camping fee is 8.50, I am sorry for not looking into this any father than I did to begin with and if this is going to keep anyone from comming please get in touch with me and I will try to help out with the extra cost or we can leave some of the vehicles outside the park and you can bunk in my camper.

Once again I am sorry for not looking into this any farther than I had.

Have a good day and may you get to spend it fishing!

    Rusty
