Don't know about the rest of them but white bass are quite tasty if you give them a bit of a soak in milk and then prepare like you would crappie. Tom |

Stripers are good for an old fashioned fish fry. Just fillet dip in egg or milk and cover with your favorite breading and fry in hot oil. Brian |

I have to tell u that my friend made some freshwater striper for my birthday one year and i am always making it when i catch striper now. Here it is: striper fillets, butter, blackin' seasoning, cast iron pan a must.Melt butter and dip fillets , then sprinkle lots of black'n spice on both sides let sit in fridge untill creamy, put pan on hot fire( outside only, will gas u out if done inside)make sure pan is hot, sprinkle water on pan and should evaperate right away. Then place fillets in pan and cook no more then 3mins a side, serve with luisana rice and beans mixture. U will want this all the time its so good :0 |

With stripers always make sure to remove the dark meat as it gets a real bad taste on fish larger than 4 or 5 pounds. |

take a striper fillet and remove the dark laterial line then smear chopped garlic to taste an the fillet add your favorite seasoning (lemon pepper, seasoned salt, basil, ect) then roll the whole fillet up like a jelly roll and pin in place with toothpicks, rap in tin foil and bake at 375 degrees for 30 min (this depends on size of fillets it may require a couple of looks to see how well it has cooked) |
