If theres any computer guru's that can give me a tip or advice on this Rich Text Format. I was messing with my profile settings and noticed that I cannot use Rich Text Format, only Basic Text Format when I post a message or reply. When I choose the option "Rich Text Format" all I get is a big scrambled mess on the page. I dont know if it's my computer settings, or if it's this high speed low drag NAFC website. I also have a problem with posting pics. Most of the time the pic attachment link is dead...It wont open. Somedays it opens, but most days it won't. I'm using windows 7 IE 9. Any help? Thanks...Vito Barresi

It's the site. It basically sucks. Full of bugs and glitches that no one ever seems to fix. In my experience, Mozilla Firefox it the optimal web browser to use. The majority, if not all, of site's features seem to work when using it. Hope that helps!

Hey Barresi, what exactly is this "rich text format"?
Ashes to ashes, dust to dust, if it wasn't for my super smooth carbon drag, my 30 year old Trilene would bust!

when you edit your profile....you have the option to type messages in basic text or rich text. Rich text is kinda like using microsoft word. It allows you to use a bunch of different editing and format functions...when I choose the rich text option, it's a big bag of jumbled crap...

You don't have to change...just add Firefox as an option. Then use it when going on NAFC...or like me...I'm using it for everything now...with much better speed where ever I go.

Here's what I heard back from IT:

"I saw this once before, and we never found what caused it, only that it happened in IE only. We suggested the other member use Firefox, and that worked better for him, it may be fixed with the upgrade, but that probably won’t happen until around February."

I wish I could troubleshoot this for you personally, but web-code stuff is not my skill set (web media is). However, as mo65 points out, you don't have to stop using your current web browser for your other sites, you can add Firefox as an option on your desktop, and just use it for our site. I wish I could help more ... -- Greg
