    Well,

It's almost here.  In about 49 hours, she'll be landing in Portland and on her way to adventure.  You may or may not know, but Oregon just got hammered with three consecutives storms over the weekend.  First one brought snow to the mountains.  6" in the coast range and 40 some inches in the Cascades.  Second and third brought wind 120mph plus to the coast and dumped over 12" of rain in the coast range.  Many of the major highways to the coast remain closed due to hundreds of Douglas Firs coming down and across the roads.  Other highways are currently flooded.  I-5 is closed in Chehalis, Wa and will remain so for a few more days due to floods.  Hwy 101 on the coast is closed to the north and south of the marina we'll be staying (Maybe?) at.  I'm going to attempt to go there tomorrow with the motorhome and see if my trailer is still there.  A little 12' fiberglass camp trailer may not have withstood the wind, or may have floated away with the flood.  Who knows at this point.  Power and phone service is down for the time being.  Whatever happens, we're going to have some fun.  The rivers that flooded are dropping like a rock and should be fishable by the weekend (hopefully).  Crabbing will not be any good, unfortunately.  They tend to go back into the ocean when the bays fill up with muddy fresh water.  We'll be taking lots of pics of the TIE's adventure back to Oregon where it started the year.  We'll keep you posted.

    Hi there Dave.

That was a heck of a storm we got. We even had snow here and that dosen't happen often LOL. I saw a news report from Seattle and the Salmon were swimming in the streets, lol. I sure hope you will be able to sort things out for MG,s adventure. Good luck to you all down there.

Thanks everyone. The tie in packed along with the Ipod, computer, books, and magazines for the plane and down time. Looking forward to what ever we get to do - heck - my first trip on a plane is enough to be an adventure. Looking forward to finally meeting you Dave. I'll report when I can.
