I received the fish tie about two months ago from another angler. Unfortunatly, there was not a list of others it was to be passed onto. If anyone knows the originator or can let me know whom to contact and can pass it on, I would appreciate it a lot.

Pete aka Turnip had organized the tie's travels, but I know things have created some problems. If he elects to pass on the responsibility, you can contact me madmakki@gmail.com. I began the tie's travels several years ago when a friend gave me the original tie as a gag.

I looked through the 2011 tie thread and there wasn't a list in the thread after the signup page (4pages back on the misc thread), I didn't look deep enough to see who might be next (didn't think of it until I was already out). I do know with turnips moving and some family health problems his plate has been more full than he expected.

Will there be a sign up list for the Official NAFC Tie for 2012?
I would really like to participate again.  I had a good time with it in 2009.

As I write this, Salmon King has yet to contact me. It's likely Salmon King will be the last recipient.

Lets hope not. Keeping things like this going is one of the things that help keep the club going. I know there has been a decline in participation but I believe it cycles around a bit. Lets create a new list for 2012- give Salmonking someone to pass it along to. What do you think rodrigo- would you be willing to tackle that responsibility?

Hi guys, just to clarify, I don't have the tie. I believe Salmon King still has it and I haven't heard from him. Until the tie shows up, there's no point in putting together a list. I responded the same day he asked where he should send it, so I'm waiting.

I thought I'd posted yesterday, but sometimes the site says it's uploading and nothing really happens. TY Salmonking. It's one of the inherent traps of moving the tie among so many people. Life happens and it gets dropped as a priority. Now if there's interest, we can begin the list. I'll begin a new thread later today and sign people up. Once again, thanks Salmonking, for finding it and moving it on.

The tie was never lost. I had it in my living room, just did not know where to send it and didnt want it to get lost with a move coming up. I just now learned that I can follow "My Topics" on this site. Wish I knew about that button a long time ago.
