Hi everyone, recently I field tested the solar bat sunglasses and liked them so much I wanted to share it with you all. Below was my review for the glasses:
I've owned multiple sunglasses in my time, from name brand to 5 dollar specials from the discount store. I've even had high grade glasses from optical facilities and these have provide the best all around eye protection that I've worn they kept the sun away around the edges and the polarization was great. Finally the Fit was spectacular it felt like the glasses weren't even there yet they still held tight enough to stay on my head when bent over or looking down to tie knots or change baits. The only thing is I'm not the wealthiest person so I would prefer to see the cost brought down alittle since I have a tendency to lose my glasses every once and awhile, that said I would still buy them or at the very least make them my first look when I am looking for new sunglasses.
They are great I really appreciated how sturdy they are I've tossed them in my tackle box strapped them to my book bag and brief case and they have taken the beating. The comfort my eyes felt was also great the only catch is they are about 89.99 a pair a little steep for my liking but I think they are worth it could be a little cheaper but for the comfort both for my eyes and to wear it would be worth it.
Hope this helps, Bradley |

$90 is not so bad specially since you really like them. I have gone through several pairs of Serengeti Drivers, The first pair I bought was $92 and worth every penny, I also have had some cheapies that I liked, anyone remember the Sool Ray Poloriods, the green lenses-lost mine in The White Mountains of AZ which prompeted me to buy a pair of sunglasses in Globe on the way home. I wore those so long that I was building the temple pieces up with shoe goo. Had to replace them when I dropped them and broke the lenses. I may check out the 'bats as I need dome new poloroids and the price is not bad, compare willey's, costa del mar and some of the others. |
