I'm tired of members' bad behavior.  Since this behavior screams "pay attention to me," the best way to shut it down is for everyone who is bothered by it, to send personal messages to those members telling them the behavior isn't appreciated, complain to the NAFC requesting sanctions against the individual(s), ignore posts by the perpetrators, post on threads that aren't attacks, thereby pushing the attack threads to the bottom.  If we all do this, it should prompt a response by the NAFC that rids our site of this behavior.  Join my, because this is ridiculous.

I've been a Life Member since 1994 and never in all those years have I seen such a running pi$$ing match as is going on here amongst a handful of members. It seems like one of them always has to have the last word, which in turn fuels the next insult. If that's all they have to contribute on this board, why don't they take it to PM's and spare the rest of us all the insults.

This place used to be a fun and interesting with all members getting along and sharing information. It seems like its turned into someplace to air your dirty laundry instead. Over the years this so called "club" has lost a lot of it's members participation because of the ridiculous and zero interest topics that seem to have taken over. It has turned this site into a casual glance, instead of a destination. Somehow we have to get this place back to what it was meant to be. Fishing and Friendship.

What does the NRA and gun issues have to do with a fishing club? If you want to argue about that subject, go to the NAHC and you'll find plenty of members ready, willing and able to debate with you.

I don't know what or when all this garbage started, but it seems we've lost respect for each other, and their differing view points. Get over it guys and move on!

I read that some fish will strike the same lure multiple times, but after each catch, the next successive strike, takes more time and effort. After the 4th, it becomes nearly impossible to catch the same fish on the same lure. A fish's brain is about the size of a pea, this is pertinent to this site, because the human brain is about 3 pounds and the size of your two fists put together. Despite this huge advantage, some of our members can't seem to figure out what a pea brained fish can after 4 successive catches. I know everyone on this site is smarter than a fish, but some refuse to learn the lesson as quickly as a fish. Please, don't be baited.

I never could figure out what the NRA and Libertarian thing really meant or what it had to do with his disagreement with the O-F website.
I just responded as I am a member of the NRA and felt his inclusion of that organization had no merit. But things led to things.
I do know that people have posted the sort of thing on this website which Dave wanted to post on the O-F site, but then the NAFC has some of the largest manufactures of fishing gear in the world supporting it and most of the O-F paid supporters couldn't pay one post in the magazine, they are "little guys". Dave w as really getting wound up and I may have also. But I didn't call him names as he has done with several of the members.

Couldn't agree more, Rodrigo. I did make the mistake of responding to one post but I think your tactic makes more sense. We need to get this forum back to a real fishing forum and not this hostility. I may not have been around as long as some other guys here but I still think a fishing forum should talk about fishing and these conversations belong on a shrink's couch.
