I just might let someone name my boat if we can use some of the same rules they use for naming rights for sports arenas. Sure you make a great offer of big cash up front each year of naming rights, then pay for my fuel and pay for my yearly maintenance and you can name my vessel. She is already named, but I will change it if the price is right. If the price is right, you can name two boats including the new one I will purchase.

Come on Dave. We ALL know that the boat names we are saying here are all in jest about one stupid thing or another we have said or done. I am pretty sure that we all laughed when we read the pop-tart/pop-r comment on another thread because we all know that what was implied isn't true with ya. With that said, no one has been offended (until now) or said anything about their impossed boat names......I think it was all pretty funny until now. I mean.......how many times can one hear/be reminded they have runned out of gas, but it is pretty funny to others so who cares.

By now, many of you may know that I am a retired pastor.  You would be surprised how hard it is for a pastor to slip away for a few minutes of quality fishing.  As churches grow fishing time gets smaller.  I thought once about naming my boat:
VISITATION.  That way when someone called the church office, my secretary could say without squealing on me:  "Sorry, he's not in right now, he's out on VISITATION!  My wife finally picked a better fitting name: "DOUBLE TROUBLE"
Whether it is in your boat or from your favorite bank have fun fishing.  Uncle Tom
I built my own lure company as a young man--thus the name UncleTomsJigs. It grew so well I decided to give it up and go fishing with family, friends and especially grand children. I became disabled as a United Methodist Pastor IN 2002 and retired here in Coastal Georgia on a 10 acre lake where I continue to fish despite my disabilities. My wonderful wife and I enjoy fishing together. God has blessed us in so many ways and we pray the same for you. I am excited about having so many new friends all over this great country.
