Hi all. I am looking for a small hp. jet outboard for my 14' lake V boat. I like to fish the rivers around my home and my little 9.6 sea king is really taking a beating.  I am on disability and my wife is also would anyone out there be willing to take payments on a motor?  It's hard in this day and age to trust someone and to find someone who trusts you. If anyone has a 15 to 30 hp tiller handle jet outboard and would be willing to work a deal with me please let me know. e-mail me at dkbarnett@centurytel.net  Thanks and God Bless. Dave Barnett

Dave I would'nt recomend a jet in a river do like I do I have a Honda 8 horse when the river I fish here gets low I raise my motor up a little go slow leave you motor unlocked so if you hit something the motor can ride up and over obstruction. This is what motor manfactures call shallow water drive and it do"es work. The reason I don't recomend jets in rivers you will have a lot of probluems with the motors water pump getting plugged up thus no thrust. There are several people around here use jets here and allways have pump probluems from sucking up mud, sand and gravel off the bottom. I hope this helps you out MCOPELAND1

If you were a little closer, I'd tell you to stop by. I've got an old ( 1967 or 68 ) 18 hp evinrude I'd let you have. Needs a little T.L.C. but ran great when I was still using it.

NW Indiana to NE Oklahoma seems a little far for a " project " motor.

Might be able to get my son to drive me out. Drop me an e-mail at dkbarnett@centurytel.net  This sounds like it could be the answer to a prayer. Thanks and God Bless
