Sorry to hear of the loss

If you have a good description of your rods, reels, and tackle box [a photo is best] then contact your local [police with the date, time, location, and what was taken and estimated value.

Depending on where you live, I [highly recommend] you would also go check out any local Pawn shops [ask them if they bought some fishing stuff recently] and if so, ask to see it claiming yours had been taken.

Other locations to check /// is any local indoor or outdoor flea markets and garage sales. Even Antique shops.

If there is a favorite fishing place local to your area, you might go do a little "bird watching" or wet a line for a while and see if anything like your stuff might show up.

I highly suspect someone seen your tackle, and in need of $$, /// grabbed it and took off for the first place they could sell it.

jshiney I know how you feel. Some kids broke into my boat a while back and stole all my rods and reels. If you have home owners insurance contact you agent. Mine replaced all the rods and reels.
