Glad to hear your story about the old Evenrude Motor.  It reminded me of a life changing experience for my Dad.  Occassionally he would go down to Florida and fish the St. John's river with some friends.  On this particular trip he found a man with what I believe was a 2.5 horse Evenrude motor with built in gas tank on the top.  He tried to write the man a check for it but the man would only take cash.  From that moment on Dad would carry several hundred dollar bills with him in his wallet.  When he got ready to return the next year, he decided to sell an even older Farmall tractor.  To make the story short, when he arrived the man still have the old Evenrude sitting in the yard for sale.  They bartered together for a while but when Dad reached in his overalls, pulled his wallet out and removed the rubber band that held it together, Dad counted out what he was willing to pay in hundred dollar bills, the ole timer smiled and helped Dad put the ole Evenrude in his truck.  We had a great fishing trip but from that moment on Dad always had a stash in his wallet called his "crazy money"--used only on such occassions as being out of state and finding a "real deal"!  Life is good, hope you have the opportunity to either make or find some real deals!  Uncle Tom  Best deal I ever got was made on behalf of a man hanging between two thieves on crosses just outside of Jerusalem.  May the good Lord bless and keep you!
I built my own lure company as a young man--thus the name UncleTomsJigs. It grew so well I decided to give it up and go fishing with family, friends and especially grand children. I became disabled as a United Methodist Pastor IN 2002 and retired here in Coastal Georgia on a 10 acre lake where I continue to fish despite my disabilities. My wonderful wife and I enjoy fishing together. God has blessed us in so many ways and we pray the same for you. I am excited about having so many new friends all over this great country.

Uncle Tom.....that's very ironic I got that same deal and was a former "member" in a United Methodist Church (thru physical birth and My Dad being a Pastor) now I'm with Foursquare International...very great church got to meet Our President who spoke to The Men last month.....talk about a great Church I am so glad I came to Foursquare before I also faced disability but I should've received it at Birth or that seems to be usually thee case with Autisim. But God has promised I'll get healed from it in My Lifetime.
