looking for some good places to fish from shore or dock (i dont have a boat yet). preferably for bass. also, what kind of bait/lures is best in this area? thanks Kevin (Cottonton,AL)

Go to Lakepoint at Lake Eufala and there is exceptional bass fishing there in the mornings and the evenings using topwater frogs or poppers. Green pumpkin colored worms and creature baits work too.

Had the same experience at Lake George! Seriously, there ain't no bad fishing in Alabama. Anywhere you can wet a hook and most places you have to hide crickets and worms while you bait up, lest they jump out and get it! Good luck! If you are fishing from the bank try the rivers--they are exceptional for bass and panfish. Uncle Tom

I became disabled as a United Methodist Pastor IN 2002 and retired here in Coastal Georgia on a 10 acre lake where I continue to fish despite my disabilities.
