Not much talk on the Arizona line lately.  I was out a couple weeks ago, launched with my kis and his wife at Mitchels camp 9On a side channel on the CA side).  Shane caught one nice bass and we boated down to the river and checke things out.  Learned that a bunch of tackle boxes on a bass boat is a bad idea, just a trip hazard.  From now on every thing will go in the tackle trays in one of the compartments.  Now if the wind will just let up a bit.

Ok, not much of a write-up.  My stepson is a truck driver and runs between Phoenix and Tulare hauling cattle.   That area is a convenient meeting place.  I will say that I replaced the original carpeted guides on my boat trailer with roller ones from Cabela's and they are so superior.  Currents (buth water and wind caused) had driven my boat off the left side a couple of times and just bent the originals.   The rollers held up, guided the boat on the trailer in a strong flow. I may try  bow guides, will get a keel saver and maybe even rollers, someday.
