I am looking for the best Catfishing Lake in the area.   Out of these select few, which one is the best and where abouts.  I am sure everyone has their own options so everyone speak up.   Also, what bait would you recommend for that Lake. Thanks a bunch.
Roosevelt lake, Apache Lake, Canyon Lake, Saguaro Lake, Horseshoe Lake, Bartlett Lake and Lake Pleasant.

I think Roosevelt and Bartlett are acknowledged best for flatheads. I nearly always fish Pleasant (closest to home) and have pulled a 25# flathead there. Channels are available at any lake. Live bluegill is the top bait for flatheads. I use shrimp and dipbaits for channels.     Happy fishing.

Are there any lakes with lakeside cabins and can we fish all night? Lakeside campsites  with nightfishing would be terrific also.

Yea, a cabin on stilts with a tiny porch over the water is my ultimate fishing fantasy, with unlimited night catch and release of course!!!

Am I dreaming or does this exist???

Sorry, you won't find that here. I fish overnight on my boat from spring through fall. In winter I'm strictly day fishing. Too cold to be on the boat overnight.I think my partner and I are going to start setting up a base camp on the lake shore in a good looking fishing spot this year for comfort and not be restricted to the boat all night.

I think the closest you will get to a house on stilts in the water out here would be a pontoon or houseboat, don't have either but have talded to people who say it works very well.
