Well, I will asmit that my fishing outings this year have been somewhat "uninspiring", had some boat problems (all my fault) and am still trying to learn my boat. My most sucessful outing recently has been in the river, fishing from shore for stripers-lots of fun on light tackle. Hope Rosey was a blast, that is an impressive place. |

Like you I have had my share of boat motor problems. I think they are all sorted out now. Haven't done a lot of fishing this year yet, too freakin' hot!!!!! I was just out doing boat maintenance, getting ready for my next trip. Maybe next weekend? I'd really like to wait till it's cooler, but I also really miss being on the water. Either way, I'll be going to Lake Pleasant, going up river to shallow water. Two years ago I caught a 25# flathead catfish there. I'd like to break my record!! Happy fishing. Well, I have commitments the next 2 weekends, so my next fishing trip will be 10-9/10-09. Still going to the Agua Fria River at Lake Pleasant. Sean, Saguaro Lake could be added to the list too. I live in north Phoenix, and normally hit Lake Pleasant or Bartlett Lake. Phoenix Arizona ~N.A.F.C.~B.A>S.S.~BoatU.S.~N.R.A.~

Been trying to get down to patagonia but work commitments haven't allowed it. The fall bite down there is awesome. We all should be sure to notify the AZ forum here about our outings, what lake is hot, so forth. I'm gonna shoot for patagonia or arivaca in the coming weeks, I'll keep everyone posted. |
