    OK, went to Canyon for my annual birthday fishing trip and caught my personal best largemouth, 5.53 pounds, on my 7 weight fly rod with an Enrico Puglisi Pinfish fly. AWESOME! A 5 minute fight before I could land it. We also caught 3 channel cats of around 3 pounds, a yellow bass and a bunch of sunfish. Another great Canyon Lake trip!

    Never fished there, I've been down the trail a couple of times and that area is just beautiful. Pinfish, a saltwater forage species, what size, just for curiosities sake.

    The fly is about 2 1/2" long. I got it on the BPS online catalog. Bring uup their catalog and click "fly fishing" then click on" flies' and just browse through them till you find it. I'm ordering more of them.

    i was out there last weekend night fishing and i caught my personal best 8lb largemouth he is in my freezer waiting to take a ride to the taxidermist

    i will be heading out in about 15 minutes maybe i will see you out there i will be in a black red and white nitro z7 but i should be loading up at the first boat dock at around 6 am, so if i dont see you out there good luck

    Sprry I missed you. I didn't get back on here till yesterday. My boat is a Glastron Sportster, almond and copper color. We were camped at the Beer Can Point campground. I think I saw your boat fishing the cove there.?

    you may have im not sure where exactly that is... i had a monster on the line but i was using my ultralight rod and reel because i broke the line on my other pole, and everything was good until he jumped out of the water and spit my hook out. But my dad went back out there saturday morning and caught a 9.0 lb large mouth, this lake has huge bass in it and next time i wont even take the ultralight i am still bummed and i caught that monster friday am around 6 am, on the north shore across from the boat docks.
