I moved from St Louis to Denver in 1994 and basically gave up fishing because I thought fly fishing was all that happened in CO. I didn't want to learn a whole new technique and invest a bunch of money in different equipment. A couple of years ago my college age son got back into bass fishing around the Longmont/Fort Collins area and I was hooked again. I recently moved to Pueblo and am trying to learn how to fish for bass and walleye without a boat. I have been fishing Valco Ponds with very little success. I understand there is bass in Lake Pueblo, but I'm not sure how you fish that place without a boat. I have really been striking out and I'm looking for someone who knows the area who could give me some current info and some serious help with the "no catch" situation.
