The adults of our family are going on vacation to FL. I was wondering if anyone could recommend a good place for us to go so they can have the beach fun yet I can do some fishing. I am interested in Snook and Redfish. Look forward to some suggestions thanks!

Benjamin: Your best bet might be the Florida FWS web site. I don't have an address handy, but I was able to access it through the BPS web site. The bottom right of the home page has a link to just about everywhere fishing you might want to go. I found a great link to an Orlando site, my family is more into Mickey and Donald than the beach! Good luck, Tom

First you need a license, unless you fish off a pier that you paid to get on.
#2. Depends where your going in Florida east coast or west, north or south.
#3 Snook and Reds took a big hit from the cold, Snook season has been canceled till September MAYBE.
    Good Luck

The license can be handled at the FWS site as well. I haven't bought a fishing license anywhere but my basement in about 10 years. Tom

Ben: What part of Ohio? I have family in Akron area and the Queen City and find myself there from time to time. Drop me a PM if you are inclined. Tom
