    Hey all,  I live in Illinois,  and a friend of mine and I are planning a trip to Florida this winter.  We are planning on mainly bass fishing,  but would like to try our hand at some Peacock bass aswell.  So I was wondering if anyone knows of any decent places to get Peacocks,  I know thry have been stocked,  but I'm not sure where.  Any info provided would be awesome.  thanks

    The Peacocks are concentrated South. There used to be a good number of Peacocks in Lake Ida (Palm Beach County) where I fish, but the last winter really put a hurt on them. If I hear of any reports on them, I will keep you posted!

    They are in South Palm Beach County south to Dade county (Miami area).
    Gets too cold for them in the winter north of that area.
    Fresh or salt both the same. Viet Vet USAF 71-75 Sgt.

    one cold front knocked them out in Miami
