Ok so here goes I am interested in finding a fishing partner that would be interested in teaching me how to fish for red fish and Stripers around the southeastern Georgia area say from Savannah to the Brunswick area. Have a 18' boat with a Evenrud 150hp motor want to learn how to fish in shore as well as the reefs along the coast Anyone interested?

    Hello from Rincon,
I just move here from Alaska, ready to fish NOW!
Like you I am looking for fishing partners. I'm about 15 miles inland from Savannah. I have a Bass Boat and many river access ramps locally. If your interested in swapping some fishing fun, Let me know. Looking forward to enjoy both salt and fresh water fishing.
    Thanks

Is there any water left in the lakes and rivers down there. The news up here in the north keeps telling us that the lakes and rivers are drying up. Towns are without water it sounds bad. I hope all is well by you.

    Hey Wes,
Yeah were a lttle low on water. Yesterday i went fishin in a slough off the Savannah River. I was about 15 miles up river from the mouth and in the slough about 1/4 mile. As the tide was going out I saw Protest signs, carried by the fish, walking on the dry banks, asking to have water sent down. LOL
No, its quite bad but still enough to keep the fish wet. I'm sure in hopes of getting LOTS more rain up north to fill the rivers again, Soon!
I'm going to have to be very very caredul with my new boat. DOn't want to be buying new props everytime I got out.
    Keep your lines wet.

Sooooo many times I wished I lived in the warmer regeion of the south. There seems to be so many more fishermen and possable partner meets. Not many going on up here and sometimes my health/disability keeps me from doing what I like. Cold, wet days drive me crazy with my Arthiritus...Dang it!!! Frowner<!--graemlin::(-->
