I heard a very nasty rumor the other day that our wonderful Governor was planning on closing at least three State parks to build condos, and raising the fees for people to camp at others. Has anyone else heard this? I have emailed the Illinois DNR to find out more information. If this is true than something needs to be done. I am also writing a letter to the Chicago Tribune hoping to get more answers and make others aware of this. I neither seen nor heard anything publisized about this, and again if it is true, that is sad. We as a community of outdoorsmen and women can not let this happen. Please let me know if anyone else has heard this. Let's stand together and fight this crooked government from taking away our simple pleasures.
