    Cook County is stocking there 3 Lakes this week and Trout Fishing Starts Sat Oct 17.

    Please remember that most of the lakes that are stocked for the fall season are closed to fishing until the 17th. Tom

    No offense, but I think it's insane to go and do that because of all of the shoulder to shoulder fishing.

    I agree, I stopped fishing the trout "season" a few years ago, I hate the crowds and never seem to catch anything. While everyone is out chasing those not so tasty trout, I will (weather permitting) enjoying a cpr bass outing on an overlooked local pond. Tom
