hows the crappie fishing

    I have fished charleston lake, charleston illinois for the last 3 days for crappie. their biting slow on jigs, a little better on minnows. had 20 over 12 inches over the last 3 days. 3/18/2010

    well pegsguy, not a #@$^% thing today !!! still got bout 2 dozen minnows for tomorow though !

    didnt go today, had to stay home with wife and kids, wife said so, lol ! I'd like to come up to your end of the state and fish that BIG lake for some trout and perch !!!
