    It's Official, Bass Pro Shops is coming to East Peoria IL! And it's expected to open Fall of 2011.

    That is great news for the Peoria area. Living in the Chi. metro area, I am spoiled with 3 BPS, 2 Cabela's and a few Gander Mtns. around. I still would rather spend my money at a mom and pop, the big box stores don't have the advice you can get at a small store. On the up side, they do carry a bigger inventory. Wish we had a Scheel's.     It is great news. We have a gander mountain. I like BPS for the enviroment, and all that. I don't oppose buying from mom and pop shops either though.
