Ok I am at a loss,,, it seems everyone reads the topics but no-one replies. I have asked about Chinnook and Stone Arch and have had no replies except my own. I am sorry but I am honestly trying to find good information on fishing here in Indiana. The only place I have had any luck that amounts to anything is while fishing the strip pits in Dugger or Greene-Sullivan State Park. Huge fish in Shakes lake and Graveyard. I heard that there are some new pits opening but haven't had the chance to fish them yet.

Now that I have  told some of my favorite spots can anyone tell me of some spots that are good to fish in Johnson, Fayette, or even Marion Counties?

    Thanks!

Come to fayete and union county there are a few good lakes to fish here There is my favorite White Water, Brookville, and also Manlove lake, White Water and MAnlove are trolling motor only Brookville is a pretty big lake. There is also the Whitewater river to fish for smallmouth, largemouth, whitebass run here in the next week or so and the walleye are up on the spawn in the river it is easy bank fishing here to Union county is 15 min. from Connersville. I do most of my fishing in Union County. All I have is a canoe and I catch a lot of nic3e bass every year at whitewater, its a very clean and quiet place. Good luck, to get to whitewater you take 44 to liberty then turn right at the grocery store and drive a couple miles until you see the sign for whitewater state park on the right.

We usually camp once or twice a year by the bridge north of the river boat ramp. Or we go to the 4-way inside brownstown and turn left to get on the other side of the washout. I have camped in that area since I was a kid. Have you ever fished at the Waterloo Bridge? I heard there is some big cats in that spot. As for Manlove,,,,,,its been at least 3yrs since I have fished there so I didnt know if it was still open. When I started this post I was curious if anyone else had fished these areas. Good to know that someone does. Maybe I will run into you sometime out there this summer. If its rained good I take my jeep out along the dirt road by the quarry to play in the mud!
