how long are you going to be in indy? On the west side there is Eagle creek. Decent bank fishing, It has a 10hp limit. Giest is on the NE side NO bank fishing, Million $$ homes surrounding it. To the north is Morse Res, been there years ago only fished from a boat. Monroe is about 1.5 hours south west in Bloomington. Brookville is about 1.5 hours east and is a US Army Corps of Engineers lake. Total access. It has Trout stocked below the dam. I do not know when "trout season" is though. Hope this of help
