Oh, and to just let you know. I have tried contacting IDNR people before. They told me that Iowa law does not require them to tell anyone about State stocked lakes or pond are. I then contact the state sentors, congressman, and other governement officals about this. They all said that it was true the the Iowa does not require them to tell anyone where state stocked lakes, ponds. Some said that they agreed with me that it should be since part of our money for fishing licenses, and other stuff go to the Stocking program. Some of them said they would check into what they can do to get it changed. But I have not heard anything back since. Maybe other Iowa fisherman from this forum should contact their Government officals and get the ball going full swing on this."

So if anyone else from Iowa has gotten the same reply from DNR as I did. Then maybe we should all contact our elected Government officals. And see about getting the ball rolling even more on this matter. Especially since we do pay for this Stocking program from the taxes from the fishing licenses, and what ever else. We should have the right to use it

You might contact the local IDNR office to see if they have a listing. Otherwise you might post down in the Iowa section of the BB. This way you will reach a wider audience.
