I contacted big dog about the ohio chapter. Sounds like they started where we are now. If each of us would print out some fliers about NAFC, and put on them that we are looking for new or past kansas members to join up and log on. WE could post them on the bulliten boards of tackle shops. Gander mountain and sportsmans in wichita would be a good place to start. If any of you get to cabellas in KC Or any of the local bait and tackle shops. There is allways some sort of board at the lakeside marinas. I feel certain that there has to be lots of like minded anglers in kansas who would welcome the chance to find other fisherman to enjoy the sport together. Most guys have one or two buds that they fish with most of the time. Some don't have anyone to go with. But I think that most would want to expand their horizons if they had the oppurtunity. What has kept me away from clubs in the past is that some are by invite only, some are bass only or walleye only and most expect a large contribution and that you can attend most if not all tournaments. Thats where we could stand out. The club is affordable, The website puts you in contact with members accross the nation and a Kansas chapter could be set up to include fun based low cost meets for multi species to include all interested. Some may have tried this in the past but lets give it another shot. Think about ways you could pull in some more members. Right now there seems to be 5 or 6 of us. If we each got one new person to join and participate we would have enuogh to be off to a good start.
