I will be moving to KY soon (within the next year) I think to the north of Barkley Lake.                                                   I have a 31ft camper, anyone know of a cheep place to park it, and anyone want to go fishing, I have a nice 14 ft boat .

Are You retierd?  If so, You may want to look for a lot to buy.  It takes some looking.  But a decent lot, where a large camper can be used, can still be found.  I think the north end of Lake Barkley, could be a good choice.  As You would be within a few minutes of ether lake. And only about 15 minutes from the Ohio, at Smithland.  I fish below Barkley dam a lot.  Fall fishing, is My favorite time for that.  The striped bass, saugar, and big catfish, show up then.  I do not fish for black bass.  But will do so, once in awhile, just to have a fishing buddy, for a day.  I have a 16 foot V bottom, with a 65 horse motor.  It is not  fast.  But not real slow ether.  During the spring, I like to fish for blue gills, at Smiths bay, on Kentucky lake.

When I am not fishing.  I do some wild life photography.  My avatar, is one I shot last March, below Barkley dam.

No I am not retired yet, and yes I would love to buy in that area. I have been around that area a few time and I love the weather and from what I hear its Great fishing. I can’t move till Sept, I work in the oil/gas wells in Co. but thing are slow now. The nice thing is I work from home, the weather and fishing sucks in Co so its time to go. I got hurt bad on a job site back in Oct. so I may be retired by Sept. Would love go fish with you guys when I get there.

It actually made it to the 70's here today, but I didn't go fishing. The weather has been up and down lately, but this week seems like it will stay in the 50's. The lows for the week shouldn't go under 40 so I plan on getting out for the first time this comming weekend. Glad to hear you might be down in June. Is that a good thing for you?
