I've been out a few times this year, and today was my first bass. It was small, but it was a bass. Just seeing what luck you guys have had.

Hey fellas. Kinda slow at Rough River. Water temp still only 51 last saturday. Waters still very slow. Pulled a few crappie in about 18 ft. Shouldnt be long now. At any rate I got to get out and run the boat for the spring operational test. Will be talking at ya soon. Been working on the road so aint had much time for this. Later, Joseph

I have caught four so far this year, three were very nice from Laurel Lake (I have pictures on my phone and can't get them off) and one small (pictured left) from a private game club I belong to.

Yeah. It's slow, but it's better than nothing. I'm just happy to have the chance to get a line wet.

All that matters is that you are enjoying yourself. I would rather go fishing and not catch anything, than to stay at home and stare at the walls.

I hear ya. When I'm not catching anything I keep telling myself I'm only out here to practice casting. LOL

Well around here the catch has been hiy and miss so far this year. In Jan. and Feb. we absolutely slayed the trout in Greenbo. March the Bluegill fishing picked up but has now dropped back off. And te bass fishing has beeen slow but I think it will pick up some here in the next few weeks. The pics are just a few of this year catches.
