That way you all can get an idea of how many members there are in Louisiana that are at least on the bulletin boards. Trying to get everyone to get together and set up their own "State Chapter's" and "State Fishing Meet's". I am very impressed at the progress we have made since starting up the Ohio Chapter.     Hi, my name is David, and I live in Natchitoches (pronounced Nak-i-tish, for those not in the know), in the west central part of the state. I mostly fish for bass in the Cane River Lake and Sibley Lake, usually from shore though I will pull out an inflatable kayak occasionally. I'm very interested in getting to know other club members in the general area. I mostly fish alone, which can get very old after a while (though admittedly it does give me more casting room). I'd enjoy hearing from any club members interested in replying.

    Hi, i'm Pete and have gotten back to fishing after 30 year absent from the sport. I live in a small town southwest of New Orleans, La.. I think we have some of the best fishing in the country, reds , speckledtrout, bass , crappie ( sac-a-lait ), grouper, drum, sheepshead,tarpon and etc.Just joined the forum hpoe to hear from yall. Down in Cajun Country

    Hi to everyone.  I'm a new member and live in Chenal, Louisiana on Bayou Chenal which is about three miles from the oxbow, False River in Pointee Coupee Parish, about 20 miles west of Baton Rouge. My wife and I are  both retired. I  mainly fish freshwater, but still make a few salt water trips during the fall and winter months .  

     I love to catch "sacalait" (crappie) and bream, which I find very  relaxing . I guess that's a sign of ageing. LOL

    Hey guys, new member and new fisherman. I live in West Monroe don't know much about fishing but loving every time I go out, even though for my last 3 trips I have only caught one fish. Oh well its all about the experience but man I would love to bring in a few more. Love to find new people to fish with and trade tips.

    Hello everyone, new member from Shreveport(pronounced Shreev-port) and I am a novice fisherman who mainly fishes for catfish, bream, white perch and bass in Cross Lake.  I will be trying out the banks of the Red River in downtown Shreveport this weekend hopefully.  Look forward to hearing from everyone.

    hey guys my name is Raun, I live in Breaux Bridge which is just down I-10 from Henderson Swamp and the Atchafalya river, I fish when I get the chance, have a little boy now that likes to fish so that adds some fun.  I am an outboard technician and marine electronics installer so feel free to ask advise if you need.  Maybe I can help.

    Hello all, I am from Saint Amant, LA. I'm a new member and have been fishing for most of my 42 years of life. Most of my fishing is done on the gulf coast for reds and speckled trout, but my real love is bass fishing in the spring on Toledo Bend.

    Hey everyone, John here. I'm 37 and have been fishing since I could walk or so I've been told. I have fished for trout in the small streams of the Adirondacks in upstate New York, salmon on Lake Ontario and in the Salmon River, Specks and Reds in the coastal waters and Tuna, Kings and Wahoo offshore.     Hi, I'm Johnny from Galliano. I fish every chance I get..Which averages out to about every other day. I fish inshore & offshore..Bull-head dolphin, Wha-hoo, Grooper,Tuna, Bass, Sockalay, Redfish, speckle trout & anything else the Gulf or the fresh-water has to offer..

    Hello. I am Brian from West Monroe. I am a spearfisherman and also enjoy offshore fishing as well as yo-yo fishing. I mainly split my time between spearfishing Lake Ouachita and fishing/spearfishing the rigs off the coast. I also have a pond at my house so most of my catfishing, bream and bass is done there.

    Hey Everyone I'm Eric, I live in Ponchatoula, just recently started fishing again. I'm from Wisconsin originally and have noticed that I love this state, this is a Sportsmans Paradise. I fish for about everything and recently bought my first Bass Boat. I fish as much as possible with my 4 year old son usually in TOW.

    Hi my name is Dennis i fish in Sabine river, alligator park, nibblets bluff,bearhead creeks,little cypress creek, nickels creek and any other fishing spot around my area  between Tx.and la. borders.
    I fish for bass,crappie,panfish,gar,carp,catfish, and other kinds,some for fun(the fight) some for eating.
    i like to catch most of my fish on a rod and reel.i have used the other ways but rod&reel is the best.
    I collect reels&rods of all kinds,somebody come's over to go fishing, i got the reel your bound to be able to use.
    I like working and repairing reels&rods(learning)make my own weights,ect.I do alot of bank fishing and i do fishing in a boat when i get a chance(don't have a boat yet)Soon as my truck Ford 1982 black f150 is redone i will have a boat.Hope to hear from someone from this area,mean time i'm Fishing every chance i get,only way to learn is by being on the water.
