Fishings been awesome, unable to get on much anymore. Had fun with bass last weekend, watching them tear up a huge school of shad was great, each one I caught was a fatty. Going out this weekend after the boys birthday for some Nite Fishing. Hope you all are catching the fish!
Take a Kid fishing, they are great bait!

Went out Wednesday after work for a few beers worth of fishing. Water was back to its normal depth. My favorite fishing spot however was full of Mullet, several strikes on jig never hooked one, threw on a slip bobber for a slow jig and caught 3 of them. Heard people eat these in Florida, gotta wonder why? Eyes are on the bottom side of the lateral line, makes them a rough fish. Hope to get some perch tonight. Any one else out there having any luck?

Last weekend was great, lost a few on dropshot rig, caught 1 nice size cat. Caught 10-15 good sized perch. Almost have enough for Memmorial Day weekends fish fry. Can't wait. Wondering though where in the heck are the crappie at?

Started watching the tides, and how they effect the inland fishing. I gotta say there is a impact on high vs. low tide fishing. The best days on the lake are deffinatly low tide, fish are deffinatly more active more prone to strike durring the low tide.
