An tips on how to fish these? I was in a tournament on both of them. I was able to catch an 8 1/2 inch Largemouth at Gilbert Run, and thats it and did not win the tournament, That day is was drizzling and very cloudy. I threw everything in my tacklebox. I tried green Stick Worms, Crak baits, hopping a jig off the bottom. I tried fishing structure. The only fish I caught was in the middle of the lake. On Piney Run I fished there October 17 in the pooring rain off the docks and did not catch a thing, I tried fishing Spinner baits and Crankbaits and Jigs.
