I think a trolling motor will put you at a disadvantage.

    He's a link.  Good Luck!

Thanks, What Can i do that can give me an advantage? Do you know of any place where I can rent a boat or something? Im 14 and do not have much money. I want to eneter at least 10 tournaments. The reason I am getting a Trolling motor is that I will be able to put it on rental rowboats

You may want to look for some local tourney's at lakes. Sometimes DNR has best catch tourney's at different lakes around the state. Also Northeastbass ( here on the forums)has fished tourney's and guides out of Delaware. He may be able to give you some better info. I would send him a Personal Message.
