Is anyone Fishing This, I might be. The Entry fee is $175, and I am not even close I have $100 right now and I also need to pay $45 to become a member. Does Any one have any advice on shore fishing Marshall Hall? I do not own a boat. I hope to have enough money soon. I did some reasearch and found that the winning weight at this location on 12/21/2009 was 16.94 pounds. What Weight should I aim for.

When is this taking place? When I fished from shore I always looked for stucture, and creek channels. Maryland has no natural lakes and you should be able to find maps of the lake. Water temp is crucial to determine  fish activity and lure presentation. I have never fish Marshall Hall. You should get out on the water and see what works best catching fish. This way you don't have to carry a suitcase of gear. But most important is that you are young and no matter what you should have fun!! I have never fished for money or prizes on purpose,Although I did win $50 once at a lake in a big fish contest I had no idea was taking place until the lake patrol came by and told me. As for the weight ypou should aim for i would say what ever wins.16+ won last year 5 could win this year you never know. With an entry fee like the purse had better be very nice. Good Luck
